<p>PURPOSE: To obviate the generation of scum in spite of reaeration by physically defoaming the suspended scum by directly adding a hydrolase to defoaming water for physically disintegrating suspended scum or using an immobilized lysozyme and causing bacteriolysis of actinomycetes or selective sterilization by the hydrolase. CONSTITUTION: The treatment of the suspended scum (in activated sludge microorgaisms of water treatment) suspended on the water surface in a sewer treatment is executed by adding the hydrolase to cause the bacteriolysis of the actinomycetes to the defoaming water 2, 4 for physically defoaming the suspended scum.</p> |
