<p>PURPOSE: To improve the inferred accuracy of a motor rotation frequency, and as a result, to generate an assist torque suitable to the more natural feeling of a driver. CONSTITUTION: An object current instruction valve Vh is calculated from the signals of a car speed sensor 13, a steering torque sensor 12, a currect detector 16, and a voltage detector 17, and a motor 8 is driven by feeding the calculation value Vh to a PWM driving circuit 19. When a ripple peak detecting means 35 detects the current peak, a timer resetting means 35 is started without outputting an operation timing signal by a timer deciding means 33. In the timer resetting means 35, the peak current detecting time is set as the starting time of a sampling cycle T, and the current value at the peak current detecting time is stored in a memory as the present current value.</p> |
