PURPOSE: To remove the air bubbles remaining in an ink tank in an ink filling method injecting ink into the ink tank. CONSTITUTION: Ink is injected into an ink tank 1 by turning the atmosphere communication port 2 of the ink tank 1 downwardly and attaching an ink injection jig to the atmosphere communication port 2 in a hermetically closed state by a joint receiver and allowing a definite amt. of the ink to flow in the ink tank under a constant pressure by a pressurizing device. At that time, the air pushed out by the injection of the ink is removed from an ink supply port 3 but a part thereof remains in an ink holding member to become an air bubble according to circumstances. However, the ink tank 1 is fixed to the ink tank fixing jig attached to an ultrasonic vibration stand and the ink is injected into the ink tank 1 while vibration is applied to the ink tank 1 to remove the air bubbles. |
