PURPOSE: To obtain the karaoke system in which a communication channel and an idle time of a communication channel connected between a karaoke sing along machine and a host device is utilized effectively and an order is received from a customer efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A host device 2 storing music data and a karaoke sing along machine 4 are connected by a coaxial cable 6. Every time the karaoke sing along machine 4 receives (a request of) a music selection code from a commander 5, the karaoke sing along machine 4 down-loads corresponding music data and plays the music. Furthermore, a management equipment 3 is connected to the coaxial cable 6 to input an order code from the commander 5. The order code is an order code of, e.g. a food or a beverage. Upon the receipt of the order code, the karaoke sing along machine 4 sends the code to the management device 3. The management device 3 displays the content of the order code to allow a person in charge to accept the order. |
