PURPOSE: To provide a cushioning material molding machine capable of supplying at low cost and by a large amount a cushioning material of high general purpose usability capable of corresponding to specification of a product intended to be packaged, by using waste paper as a material, and properly selecting, in a process of cutting this paper formed, a finished shape, twist strength, diameter, cut length, etc. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises an input port 1 of waste paper, paper feed conveyer 2 of transfer feeding the input waste paper, cutter 3 of cutting the waste paper in a prescribed size, chutes 4a, 4b of guiding the cut waste paper and a braider 5 of twisting together into a cord shape the cut paper fed through the chute. The device has an end processor 6 of preventively processing fraying an end face after cutting of a cord fed from the braider 5, cutter 7 of cutting the end processing finished cord into a prescribed length and a product container 8 of receiving a cushioning material completing molding. |
