PURPOSE: To obtain a cell adhesion inhibitor containing a 2-amino-3-halogeno-1,4- naphthoquinone derivative. CONSTITUTION: This medicine contains a compound of the formula (R<1> and R<2> are each H or OH; R<3> is a lower alkyl, a 3-7C cycloalkyl, acryl, etc.; R<4> is H, etc.; X is a halogen) or its salt as an active ingredient. The compound of the formula has inhibitory action on adhesion of leukocyte and cancerous cell to hemangioendothelial cell and is useful for and antiinflammatory medicine, a therapeutic agent for ischemic re-perfusion disorder, an inhibitor for organ transplantation rejection and a therapeutic agent for autoimmune diseases and an inhibitor for tumor metastasis and has an action mechanism different from that in current clinic use. The daily dose is 10mg-1g per adult in the case of an antiinflammatory medicine, 0.01-10mg in the case of a therapeutic agent for ischemic re-perfusion disorder, 1mg to 1g in the case of an inhibitor for organ transplantation rejection, 0.01-100mg in the case of a therapheutic agent for autoimmune diseases, and 0.1-100mg once to several times daily via oral or parenteral route in the case of an inhibitor for tumor metastasis. |
