PURPOSE: To obtain an integrated optical element which is small in size and thickness and excellent in mass productivity by integrating all of parts including light emitting element, light receiving sensor, polarizing mirror, objective lens, etc., necessary for the optical system of an optical pickup device. CONSTITUTION: This optical integrated element has a substrate 6 having the light emitting elements 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d which emit light and the light receiving sensors 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d which receive reflected light and an incident part 14 which makes the light from the light emitting elements 2a... incident. Further, the element has also an optical member 10, in which a first reflection part 13c for reflecting the light entering from this incident part 14, a second reflection part 12 for reflecting the light from this first reflection part by converting the light to nearly parallel beams or convergent beams and a light condensing part 11 for condensing the light therefrom, and optical path converting parts 13a, 13b for conducting the reflected light to the light receiving sensors 3a..., are formed. The optical integrated element which is strong to a fluctuation in the wavelength of the light emitting elements by a temp. change, etc., and is suitable to the integrated optical pickup device of a small size and thin type is thereby obtd. |
