<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently produce color filters by sticking coating materials for electrodeposition of plural colors on transparent electrode layers formed on a transparent substrate and impressing voltage between transparent electrode layers and a counter electrode plate, thereby forming colored layer regions on the transparent electrode layers. CONSTITUTION: Plural pieces of the transparent electrode layers 2 consisting of transparent conductive thin films of ITO, etc., are patterned and formed to a stripe shape atop the transparent substrate 1 consisting of a transparent glass plate, etc., and the coating materials 3 for electrodeposition including resins, pigments and additives are orderly deposited as coloring materials for red, green and blue by an ink jet, recorder so as to alternate these materials. In succession, the counter electrode plate 4 formed with an ITO electrode layers 6 in such a manner that the ITO electrode layer 6 completely covers plural pieces of the transparent electrode layers 2 of the transparent substrate 1 is arranged via spacers on the glass substrate 5 so as to face this transparent substrate 1. Electrodeposition is executed by impressing the voltage between all of the transparent electrode layers 2 on the transparent substrate 1 and the ITO electrode layer 6 of the counter electrode plate 4 and the colored layers of red, green and blue are deposited on the transparent electrode layers 2.</p> |
