<p>PURPOSE: To precisely generate a reference signal with a simple constitution by generating the signal showing reproduction start of plural heads according as a prescribed reference signal in the input digital data has been detected. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative digital signal of which information amount is compressed using techniques such as DCT, quantization, etc., at a recording time, and a regenerative signal processing circuit 6 expands the information amount by performing processing opposite to the time at the recording time for the regenerative digital signal, and converts it into an image signal of an original form to output it. Further, a PG generation circuit 7 generates a PG signal synchronizing with rotation of a cylinder 2 provided with heads 3, 4 to output it to an SWP generation circuit 8. The SWP generation circuit 8 generates an SWP based on the PG signal to output it to a switch 5 and the regenerative signal processing circuit 6. The switch 5 is shifted according to the SWP to output regenerative signals from the heads 3, 4 alternately.</p> |
