<p>PURPOSE: To provide a method for creating a tight and stable coral reef capable of simply making a coral reef which has been reduced in recent years by providing an artificial rock block showing an appearance similar to that of a natural rock with a replica coral and a natural coral, useful for repairing a view of the bottom of the sea and as a sightseeing spot for diving and is effective for eliminating waves so as to protect a sandy beach and as a man- -made gathering place for fish. CONSTITUTION: A mount 3 is built from divided stone 2 at the bottom of the sea 1 under fixed conditions. Then the surface of an artificial rock block 6 formed on the ground is provided with a replica coral 5. The artificial rock block 6 is placed on the mount 3, a natural coral 8 is transplanted on the surface of the artificial rock block 6 at the bottom of the sea. Preferably a pump 21 is placed on a fixed position on the artificial rock block 6. The pump 21 is operated by an electricity generator 20 taking advantage of wave force, wind force or solar energy. Seawater in the open sea is circulated and supplied in the direction of shallows 23 to promote supply of nutrient to the natural coral 8.</p> |
