<p>PURPOSE: To provide a charging system for fully charging a battery within a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION: This system has a battery charger 2 for charging a battery 1, a control means 3 for controlling the battery charger 2 according to the battery state of the battery 1, and a heating means 4. The control means 3 has a judging means 301 for judging whether the charge of the battery 1 is completed not within a prescribed time or not on the basis of the battery state; and an arithmetic means 302 for calculating the heating time of the battery 1 so that the charging of the battery 1 is completed within the prescribed time on the basis of the battery state when the charge of the battery 1 is judged to be not completed within the prescribed time by the judging means 301, and the heating means 4 heats the battery 1 only for the heating time calculated by the arithmetic means 302. The control means 3 also has a setting means 303 for inputting charge starting time and charge completing time, and the prescribed time may be set to the time from the charge starting time of the battery 1 to the charge completing time.</p> |
