PURPOSE: To surely carry out electric connection without causing partial shearing and tearing off by simple operation by inserting a sharp insertion needle of a connector body in the center of a carbonaceous core wire from one end face of a linear heating element. CONSTITUTION: An insertion needle 1a of a connector body 1 is inserted into a proper depth of the center of a core wire 2a from one end face of a linear heating element 2. Consequently, the heating element 2 and a connector body 1 are electrically joined since the carbonaceous core wire 2a is compressed between the outer circumference of the needle 1a and an insulating coating 2b. In the joined condition, without bared and exposed to outside, the core wire 2a is compressed between the needle 1a and the coating 2b inside the coating 2b to be electrically connected with the needle 1a, so that even if the core wire 2a is a relatively fragile collective bundle of carbon short fibers, reliable and highly efficient electric connection is done without causing partial shearing and tearing off or disconnection of the wire 2a. Moreover the connector body 1 is surely prevented from coming off the heating element 2 attributed to a joining step part 1b in the rear end of the needle 1a. |
