PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal panel featuring excellent productivity while assuring a good contrast and a process for producing this panel. CONSTITUTION: A pair of glass substrates 6a, 6b, at least one of which are successively formed with color filters 9 and transparent electrodes 4, are arranged to face each other by having a prescribed cell gap. Overcoating layers 5 consisting of photosensitive resins and spacers 11 are simultaneously formed by a photolithography method on these color filters 9. The height of these spacers 11 is controlled by adjusting the development time of the photosensitive resins. |
