PURPOSE: To prevent a strange sound in the nonoperating condition of a parking brake bar from being produced by adding a small number of parts, and allow to apply no dustproof and no waterproof structures. CONSTITUTION: The first member 31 of a brake locking detecting means 12 is provided to a parking brake lever 11 through the first shaft 21, the second member 32 of the detecting means 12 is installed rotatable to a cable 13 through the second shaft 22, and elastic bodies 23 and 24 provided between the first and the second shafts energize to approach the first and the second shafts each other. A detecting switch 14 which is switched when the lever is operated by a force more than a specific force, and the first and the second shafts are separated at a specific distance against the elastic forces of the first and the second elastic bodies, is provided to the first member 31. A switch holder 29 is projected from the floor 15 to the detecting switch 14, and a cushion member 30 is provided at the front end of the switch holder 29. The detecting switch 14 is abutted to the cushion member 30 in the nonoperation condition of the lever, while the detecting switch 14 is separated from the cushion member 30 in the operating condition of the lever. |
