PURPOSE: To permit the mounting of a filter member on a ventilating fan main body without any looseness by a method wherein holder units are provided at both ends of a filter member while retaining holes for mounting the filter device onto the holder unit are bored. CONSTITUTION: Retaining projections 13 are formed on the right and left walls of a cover main body unit 7 at upper and lower two places while the horizontal section of the retaining projections 13 are provided with L-shape and are formed so that the tip ends thereof are faced toward the indoor walls. The retaining holes 5 of the holder unit 3, which are provided at both ends of the filter 1, are hooked to the retaining projections 13 whereby the filter 1 can be mounted. The retaining projection 13 is provided with the shape of a key whereby the mounted filter 1 is hardly dropped from the cover main body unit 7. According to this method, the filter member 2 can be mounted on the main body of the ventilating fan without any looseness. |
