A targetting device has an optoelectronic steering device (11) for controlling the guided missile (14) along a target axis (17) with a processor (18) for calculating the missile coordinates relative to this axis. At least one optoelectronic sighting device (12, 13) is used to direct a target mark (26, 23) onto the target object (27), with pre-adjustment of the optical axes of the sighting and steering devices onto the same target point. The sighting device has a target mark generator (22, 23) for insertion of a target mark in the viewing field, with the coordinates of the target mark relative to the representation of the missile in the viewing field determined from the missile coordinates.
