The cooler (1) can be firmly secured to a support (4). It has coolant passages (1a) providing a flow of coolant and at least one flat side (1b) to provide a good heat conducting connection with at least one electrical subassembly (3). There are fitting means by which the electrical subassembly (3) can be releasably pressed against the flat side (1b) of the cooler (1).
