Cylinder inner pressure sensing system for controlling multi-cylinder engine

The multi-sensing sections (30a-30d) are interposed between the cylinder head and the cylinder block of an engine, which has a number of cylinders, and so operationally designed, that it determines a signal, which is characteristic for the inner pressure in each cylinder. A detection circuit (40, 50) is provided for overlapping detection signals received from at least two sensing sections, in order to remove a resulting overlapping signal. A reference signal prodn. system (20) is designed, so that it delivers a reference signal for the discrimination of the detector signals, which would be received in conjunction with the number of cylinders. A system (60) is provided for separating at least one of the detected signals, which would be detected from at least two sensing sections, for creating the overlapping signal, from the overlapping signal, on the basis of the reference signal.
