The casing (1) is sealed by a lengthwise seam, top and bottom sections (11, 10) being joined to it. It also incorporates a peripheral tear-open strip (5) for detachment of the top. A collar (13) inside the casing extends downwards and at least below the top edge (4) of the strip. The top end of the collar can be clamped between the casing and the top, and can be cut away at the seam (9). The top can be cup-shaped, with the top edge of the casing being beaded over inwards above the upright collar (12) on it. Alternatively it can form a cap, with its free edge extending downwards beyond the top edge of the strip. |
