The manufacturing procedure involves the construction of a base for the equipment by flush mounting a floor plate (12) onto a base plate (10), using screws (14) passing through holes in the floor plate into threaded nuts incorporated into the base plate. This structure is then surface treated using an electrostatic coating process. A covering plate (16) is added to the base structure, and fixed by means of further screws. These pass through holes in the covering plate into additional threaded nuts also incorporated into the base plate, so that there is a flush joint between the two parts. The combined structure is then further surface treated using an electrostatic coating process.
