Openable motor vehicle roof

The roof consists of a lid (3) and a lid lining (7). The lid lining is raised by a second opening device which is operated by the same drive, but only when the lid has reached its open position. The opening device for the lid passes through an empty distance during the lifting of the lid lining. The second opening device is located in the carriage (5) which moves in guide rails beside the roof opening. It has a lever (10), pivoted to the carriage, with a fork-like opening. A shaft (12) on the lid lining engages into the forked opening.
