发明名称 Torque-splitting control for vehicle during cornering
摘要 The secondary driven wheels, or the non-driven wheels, are linked to a gearing (2) and to two clutches (3R, 3L) which are operated by a processor control in relation to the vehicle speed and to the cornering forces. The clutches control the relative braking and acceleration of the wheels on the axle in relation to the transverse acceleration forces on the vehicle. When the dynamic transverse forces are below a threshold the clutch action is increased with increasing transverse forces, to increase the force between the inner wheel and the road. With the dynamic transverse forces above a second, higher threshold, the clutches are opened w.r.t. rising transverse forces to prevent the inner wheel from loosing contact with the road.
