<p>The machine of the invention comprises, downstream of pinching means which define portions (P), successive pairs of first and second plates (1, 1') arranged in parallel relationship and inside which the portions (P) come into engagement. The first and second plates (1, 1') of each pair are fed into the machine while keeping their spacing interval and matching longitudinally, while being displaced transversaly at the same speed but in opposite directions so as to make the gripped portion (P) rotate upon itself. Furthermore, between sucessive first plates (1) and between successive second plates (1'), the directions of transversal displacement are alternated. Consequently, the filled casing (B) displaced by means of the pairs (1, 1') of plates advances in the machine in the form of successive portions (P) between which a twisting operation is carried out.</p> |
