Object: to provide a supravital stainer for solving such problems of the conventional supravital staining method that the cell components, particularly erythrocytes, are influenced by the osmotic pressure or pH of the stainer to undergo hemolysis or morphological change and that the samples are difficult to preserve. Constitution: glutaraldehyde is added to a conventional supravital stainer in such a manner that the final concentration of the aldehyde will be 0.5 % after staining to thereby permit staining and cell component fixation at the same time. |
