Behind a coin insertion slot (1) there are two transport rollers (2, 3), switched by the foreign body and driven by a motor (9), controlled by unit (8) along the line (7), with a light gate (4) for scanning the circular form of the body (M). When the circular form is recognised, the coin is moved further along by the rollers, while the irregular foreign body is shunted to one side or rejected completely.
