Device for injecting a fuel gas mixture into a combustion engine comprising within each cylinder a gasifying chamber (1) directly communicating with the gas inlet (2) of each combustion chamber; an injector needle valve (4) for continuously injecting liquid fuel; means (14, 15) for injecting pressurized primary air into the premixing chamber (17); means (19) for admitting slightly overpressurized secondary air; a helical screw (7) for overpressurizing, mixing and molecular fractionating the air/fuel premixture and transforming it into a homogeneous gas in each of the gasifying chambers (1), said screw being alternately rotated by the pressure of the air/fuel premixture and the depression in the gasifying chamber, electronic means for controlling and regulating the flow of the various fuel supply means into primary and secondary air flows and the injection of fuel into the premixing chamber (17).
