The termination rail has a slit opening (12) at each end, with a ratchet hook (14) cooperating with a respective arm (18) of a carrier system (20). The input region of each slit opening has a flexible operating contour (22) with at least one further ratchet hook (24). The termination rail has a seating (28) for an earthing adapter (30) adjacent each slit opening, with seating pref. having a ratchet hook (34) for securing the inserted earthing adapter.
