The undrawn monofilament of polyester is drawn at 95-115deg.C, and thermally treated at 159-180deg.C as it is drawn. The drawn monofilament has 0.7 = critical viscosity = 1.0 and 35 = fracture elongation = 50 and 5.0 = fracture tensile strength(g/d) and 3.25= tensile strength(g/d) at 10% elongation.
