The power-driven truck assembles non-driven rail vehicles, being movable between the free and profiled positions in the rail track. Lengthwise members (4, 5) of the truck frame hinge together via a bearing (6), being movable into a position where they are slightly inclined to each other. The members (5) have an extension beyond the bearing and by which they rest on the bolt (13) of a locking mechanism, the latter being mounted on the members (5). In the unlocked position, the members are set down in a position clear of the working area. There can be an initiator (24) on the track and a switching straight-edge (33) on the truck. The initiator signals movement of the truck into the unlocked position. |
