<p>A method of removing an adsorbate from a stream (A) includes the steps of: passing said stream through an adsorbent thereby to adsorb said adsorbate; regenerating said adsorbent by passing a second stream containing a more readily adsorbed adsorbate therethrough such that the more readily adsorbed adsorbate replaces said first adsorbate; and passing a third stream, having a lower concentration of said more readily adsorbed adsorbate than said second stream, through said adsorbent thereby to desorb said more readily adsorbed adsorbate and preparing it for adsorption of said first adsorbate. <IMAGE></p> |
