<p>In a washing machine or tumble dryer, the mechanism to stop the drum at a given position has a system (4.5) to give the required rest position for the drum (1). At the end of a second time span, the process is repeated for a second supply wave at a second frequency, where both frequencies are whole numbers more than 1.
