<p>The assembly, designed to be fitted between two rail sections (2,3) with a predetermined lengthwise axis (4) to allow a relative movement along the axis while providing a rail surface continuity between the, consists of a series of sleepers (34,38) and two points (7,11) with first (13,14) and second (18,19) ends, connected to the rails (5,9) in one (2) of the two sections. Counter-points (8,12) with first (15,16) and second (20,21) ends are connected to the rails (6,10) in the other section (3) and are able to slide relative to the points. Each of the sleepers has fixed or sliding mounting members (35,36,42,43) for the points or counter-points, including rigid plates (42,43) set on elastic sole plates.</p> |
