Salts of formula (I) R- COO- R'R'2N+-(CH2)n-OH wherein: R represents the alkenyl radical of a C20-C22 omega-3 polyunsaturated acid; R' represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C2 alkyl radical; R' represents R' as above defined, or a (CH2)nOH hydroxyalkyl radical where n is 2 or 3; are useful as cardiovascular agents.
