The power supply is for terminal having electrical circuits supplied by a network supply (NS) and a telephone line (a/b). The line supplied circuit devices allow selection and speech operation. A switching stage (R) is included which connects the line supplied circuit devices to the network supply (NS). The circuit devices include receiver-speech circuits (HS) and processor devices (P1). When the network supply fails, an emergency supply is provided through the telephone line (a/b). The processor devices are connected to a processor card ((KA).
