SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY INTEGRATED WITH MAGNETIC ELEMENT

PURPOSE: To obtain a small-sized light weight switching power supply integrated with a magnetic element in which the output power is increased by manufacturing the switching power supply while attaching greater importance to a thin film technology than to a surface mounting technology employing a chip device. CONSTITUTION: A primary winding is formed between an electrode 7 at a power FET wiring part 19 and a magnetic thin film 20 using a thin film technology. A secondary winding 22 is formed on the output side of a bulk core 21 coupled magnetically with the magnetic thin film 20 thus fabricating a switching element and a magnetic transformer on one substrate.
