<p>The protection contact prevents any overvoltages in the telecommunication equipment. It contains a housing with a PC board, element for overvoltage suppression, slider, spring, earthing plate and signalizing elements. The solder- containing part of the contact is loaded to a minimum degree. The contact consists only of a few components which enables the automation of its manufacture at low price, as well as realization of visible signalling of the disconnected state when the slide (4) is pressed in advance by a supporting surface (17) to an edge (20) of an internal wall of the housing (1) by the effect of spring (8), and a part formed of solder (7) is loaded to a minimum state only by the spring force (the pressure strength) of slide (4).</p> |
