PURPOSE: To provide a method capable of efficiently and cost effectively forming images directly on a plate having high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: This image forming method consists of a stage for forming the images by ink jet using opaque ink 47 on the ink repulsion layer 43 of the printing original plate 10 laminated with a base 40, a photosensitive resin layer 42 and the ink repulsion layer 43 in this order, a stage for exposing the photosensitive resin layer 42 by using active rays through the parts of the ink repulsion layer 43 not provided with the image formed by the ink jet and a stage for developing the printing original plate 10. |
