PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick coupling system capable of readily, rapidly and simultaneously coupling or uncoupling all the heald frames of a loom to related bell cranks, especially at a low cost. SOLUTION: This quick coupling system comprises flexible tie-rods. Each of the tie-rods having the lower part hinged to each bell crank has a tie-rod head designed to be admitted into a groove of a driving means having a stop, i.e., a stroke limiting shoulder part and locked therewith in the upper part. A guide means is fixed onto the lower part of the heald frame and the tie-rods are locked by a locking means. Two tilting jaws mutually opposite to the tie- rods and arranged on both sides keep all of the flexible tie-rods in a rigid completely vertical position when coupling or uncoupling the heald frames. The tilted jaws are rotated by an operating means. |
