PURPOSE: To provide a system compatible with a two-dimensional imaging system by compacting stereoscopic image information and incorporating it in the two-dimensional imaging system. CONSTITUTION: On a display screen 1, a two-dimensional image part is defined as the main screen 2 of main images and an unused part is incorporated as a sub screen 3. Thus, the stereoscopic image information is constituted in one frame of two-dimensional images. For the main screen 2, a size and a position are arbitrarily set as the two-dimensional images displayed on the display screen 1. Then, in the case of performing the two-dimensional image display of image information, a sub screen part is masked and turned to the display area of the other character information as needed or the like and only the main screen is displayed. Thus, it is effective in a wide stereoscopic image field such as television games and movies or the like in the future. |
