PURPOSE: To provide a developing device capable of preventing the developer from leaking from the developing device, improving the operability at the time of arrivals at the user side and keeping the device quality with use of the inexpensive material and by the simple means. CONSTITUTION: The shaft of the paddle wheel 3 extended to the front side of the developing device, an end part of the tape 11 provided with the adequate tacky power as the tape member is wound round the shaft 12 and the other end is stuck on the developing device or the part of copying machine main body so that the shaft 12 is not rotated. Further, the tape 11 is wound round the shaft 12 in the same direction as the rotary direction of the paddle wheel 3, and thereby the reverse rotation of the paddle wheel 3 is prevented. Moreover, the reverse rotation of the developing roller 2 is indirectly prevented by fixing the shaft 12 of the paddle wheel by the tape 11, as the paddle wheel 3 is connected with the developing roller 2 by the gear. |
