摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a decontaminating method by laser which enables the decontamination and the formation of modified layers in a dry condition by using the same laser irradiator as used for decontamination. CONSTITUTION: After removing a radioactive oxide layer 20 by irradiating a material 15 to be decontaminated with the first laser beams LB, the surface of the material where the radioactive oxide layer 20 is removed in irradiated with the second laser beams LA and supplied with a modifier such as an oxidant to form a surface modified layer 21.
