<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently and accurately separate desired cells by using a stem cell separating material formed by immobilizing antibodies to antigens on the membrane surfaces of stem cells on a carrier formed by introducing carboxyl groups and hydrophilic chains into a nonwoven fabric consisting of fibers at the time of separating the stem cells. CONSTITUTION: The stem cell separating material formed by immobilizing the antibodies to the antigens on the membrane surfaces of the stem cells on the carrier formed by introducing the carboxyl groups and hydrophilic chains into the nonwoven fabric consisting of the fibers at the time of separating the stem cells is used. A stem sell separating column formed by immobilizing the anti-CD34 antibodies to the nonwoven fabric introduced with the carboxyl groups and hydrophilic chains, then packing these nonwoven fabrics into the column in such a manner that the fiber packing density attains 0.03 to 0.80g/cm<3> is used. Further, the CD34 positive cells are adsorbed from the myelofluid, etc., and thereafter, the unnecessary cells are removed by washing and only the necessary cells are desorbed by vibration. The stem cell separating column is disposed with caps 3, 3' and filters 4, 4' respectively above and below a main body 1 delineating a space 2 for packing the separating material therein and is disposed with an inflow port 5 and outflow port 6 for the treating liquid.</p> |
