PURPOSE: To prevent erroneous operation and useless power consumption in a microcomputer for operation control while operationability of power switch is maintained. CONSTITUTION: In a power supply apparatus comprising a battery 11, a DC-DC converter 12, a microcomputer 21 and a power switch 23, the converter is operated by supplying a DC voltage V11 from the battery to the control terminal of DC-DC converter through the switch, the microcomputer is operated by supplying the DC voltage V12 and the converter is held in the operating condition by supplying an output S21 of the microcomputer to the control terminal of converter. A DC voltage from the battery is supplied to the microcomputer via the switch and transistor 24 to stop the supply of the output S21. |
