PURPOSE: To provide a camera system capable of giving a proper electric flash light quantity, even if the result of range-finding is not proper, in a camera system constituted of a stroboscope device and an automatic focusing camera. CONSTITUTION: This camera system is constituted by combining the automatic focusing camera 1 provided with a range-finding means 21a and a nonfocusing detecting means 11 deciding whether range-finding output is obtained or not in proper conditions and the stroboscope device 3 capable of selectively using a GNO light emitting mode control means 5 controlling an emitted electric flash light quantity in accordance with the set GNO and an automatic light emitting mode control means 6 controlling the emitted light quantity in accordance with a reflected light quantity from an object by electric flash light emission and when the deciding means 11 of the camera 1 judges that the proper conditions are not obtained, a light emitting control mode by the automatic light emitting mode control means 6 is selected. |
