<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a toner having a uniform compsn. and stable quality even by continuous kneading by using a resin having a specified particle size distribution. CONSTITUTION: This resin for toner used for producing a toner compsn. through a kneading process has no peak of its particle size distribution at >=1,000μm. A known resin fit for a toner may be used as this resin and styrene resin, polyester resin or epoxy resin is preferably used. Two or more kinds of such resins may be used in combination. The resin is produced by a known method. In the case of styrene resin, soln. polymn., suspension polymn., bulk polymn. or emulsion polymn. is adopted. When the resin consists of a low mol.wt. body and a high mol.wt. body, different polymn. methods may be adopted.</p> |
