The invention relates to a method for the production of plastic containers, in particular crates. By it, two profile elements (7) are assembled, forming opposite sides (5d, 5e) of the container together with profile element (1) forming walls (5b, 5c) and the bottom (5a) of the container. Profile elements (7 & 1) are produced by extrusion, boring and cutting of plastic material into pieces.
