DEVICE FOR THE PROTECTION OF SHIM-INVERTERS

The device is used for the protection of electron switches in inverters in short-circuiting in their loads or arms. It improves the fast action, efficiency and the selectivity of the protection. The device contains a coincidence circuit (5). Its first input is connected to the output of a pulse generator (4) by a member with pure delay (6) and its second one to the output of inveter (1) by a voltage comparator (7). The output of the coincidence circuit (5) is connected across the first input of a counting system (8) to the interlocking input of end stages (3) which on their part are connected to the control inputs of the switches in the inveter (1). The output of the pulse generator (4) is connected to the driver inputs of the end stages (3) and to the second input of the counting system.
