<p>PURPOSE: To surely transmit deceleration generated at collision to a collision sensor fitting part, and stably detect collision even against offset front collision or oblique front collision. CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle, a cross member 6 is fixedly secured to a center tunnel part 4a formed on the center part of a floor panel 4, and a collision sensor fitting part 7 is set on the position reinforced by the cross member 6 of the center tunnel part 4a. The rear end part of a deceleration transmitting member 8 of closed section of which the front end is fixedly secured to the inside of the front position of the confronted fixed part of a side frame 2 to a toe board 3 is fixedly secured to the cross member 6, so that deceleration generated at collision is transmitted to the cross member 6 provided with the collision sensor fitting part 7, from the side frame 2 through the deceleration transmitting member 8, without dispersing into the toe board 3 part.</p> |
