PURPOSE: To instantly recognize the tiltable direction of a joy stick by forming an operation surface of an operation part in an n-gon, and making a line segment to regulate the n-gon almost perpendicular to the switch operating direction by tilting of the operation part. CONSTITUTION: An operator tilts a joy stick 2 by placing a finger on an upper surface of an operation part 9 of the joy stick 2. According to this tilting, a plate 6 inclines leftward together with the stick 2 with a pin to connect a joint housing 11 to a switch plate 6 as the center. Then, a pressing pin 24 is pressed by the plate 6, and a holding member 42 is deformed, and since a conductive member 43 of a switch 34 contacts with an electrode 41, the switch 34 is turned on. At this tilting time, when the finger slightly slips out from a recessed part 51, a projecting part 52 strongly touches the finger, and operation of the stick 2 is performed in the correct direction together with the edge of an upper surface of the operation part 9. The projecting part 52 has an antislipping function of the finger placed on the recessed part 51, and makes a line segment to regulate an operation surface of the operation part 9 in an n-gon almost perpendicular to the switch operating direction. |
