<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a waste gas processing agent capable of efficiently removing the acidic substance or further dioxin, if any, in the waste gas by enhancing the reaction activity of the surface of the grain, decreasing the grain diameter and increasing the specific CONSTITUTION: Calcium hydroxide having >=25m<2> /g specific surface, <=6μm average grain diameter and <=30min oxalic acid activity as the reaction activity is used as the agent for removing the acidic substance in the waste gas. Since the reaction activity of the grain surface is increased in this way, the instantaneous reactivity toward the acidic substance is enhanced, the grain diameter is reduced the specific surface is increased, the reaction efficiency is raised, and the amt. of the unreacted material is reduced.</p> |
